Grab and Go Speech: Paper, Pen, and Stickers

Welcome to Grab and Go Speech! All you need is a piece of paper, a pen, and a sheet of stickers. True no-prep therapy: no printing, no cutting, no set up.

In my bag, I carry around a notebook with blank pages, a pencil case with markers, crayons, that pencil I found on the floor, etc. and a few sticker sheets. That way I’m always guaranteed to have a therapy plan. And, as an added bonus, something I can stick in a speech folder and/or send home.

My favorite supplies include:

  1. Mondo Llama sketchbook
  2. Sharpie Felt Tip Fine Point Pens
  3. Magnolia Speech Stickers

While the stickers are based on speech sounds, they can be used for all kinds of goals and groups. Use them to work on: categories, prepositions, expanding sentences, WH questions, conversation prompts, storytelling, and so much more.

In Grab and Go Speech, I’ll show you exactly how I do speech and language therapy activities with just paper, something to write with and stickers. Some of my favorite and most used activities include: match it, build a sentence, and silly scenes.

Do you ever base therapy activities around stickers? If so, I’d love to see it! One of my favorite things about being an SLP is connecting with other SLPs. Please share your ideas through email (molly@mangoliaspeech.com) and/or on instagram @magnoliaspeech.
